Roadway Container Logistics

The site consists of a 35 acre freight depot where containerised cargoes are transferred between road and rail networks.

A comprehensive network of functional dome cameras is provided to meet the needs of both security and operations personnel, each function sharing certain cameras from two independent consoles.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras, linked to a customer database, has been provided covering entry and exit lanes.

Access Control has been achieved using radio fobs, proximity based ID cards, drop box technology and ANPR to control gate and barrier operations to the site.

The stainless steel barriers are set in pairs and work together or independently in response to the Access Control signal generating the command.
